AedID uses two kinds of cookies and similar storage: the ones the product cannot work without, and optional analytics — including session recording — that only runs if you say yes. No advertising cookies, ever.
Strictly necessary
These are set by AedID itself, on aedid.com only. They need no consent — the service does not function without them.

Analytics (optional)
Neither of these is loaded, and nothing is sent to Google or Microsoft, until you choose Allow.

A session recording is a recording of your use of AedID made by a third party, Microsoft, on our behalf. Anything you type is masked, and your documents and your conversations with the AI Steward are hidden from recordings.
Your choice
You were asked once, in the banner. Change your mind any time here — the choice takes effect immediately, and declining removes the analytics cookies already set on aedid.com:
Analytics and session recording are currently not yet chosen.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as "Decline" and do not show the banner at all.
